Avalanche of technical jobs
- By benjo belongilot
- Published 08/5/2010
The right steps towards hunting a job is the preparedness of one self to hunt down in the battle fields and search the right path of roads, avoiding labyrinth paths that would hastenly hoist you down on the thorny pit. We have paramount of graduates from different universities and colleges and of course associated and vocational graduates who whip their resumes to impress the human resource of the different companies they applied for. But they are still in a long queue waiting for the right technical job. What is happening right now is the prevalent anemia of jobs vacancy in the different seats of companies; maybe this is still the tail effect of global recessions. The rise and fall of the economy in the Philippines and even abroad affect the lives of the individual in social development that creates social reform, The Philippine government is pushing the Dept. of Labor and Employment to have a statistics of companies who need workers, this is one of the panacea that could kill un employment mania in the country.
There are BPO (Business process outsource) hosted by the different voice markets and none voice markets, to make things lucid these are the call centers and the back office management that create employment thru human resource capitalism. These companies create a pool of recruitment via Job Fairs and posting different Technical jobs to the jobs seekers. At first, the job seekers in different archipelago are enjoying the strong campaign of the Philippine Government, as this was the beginning of new hope for the aspiring workers in different regions to find a job with out expending money going to the central capital of the Philippines that is Manila. But the result wasn’t enough to raise the torch to the turf of job seekers. In other words Jobs Fairs could not answer the plight of the Filipino Technical workers who seek for a good occupation.
Now, the job fairs are still existing, there are Job fairs that offers promises glued in their banners, concomitant with good compensation with numerous perks. A fair job is a job fair, it’s in the context of providing jobs to the technical workers, and it connotes technical word because it has something to do with the skills and brain. Basically it is philippine technical on sides of knowledge and skills. The advertisements on the Jobs fair are full of glitters and quantity of sponsorships comes from the other company. This is the game of today’s competition, human capitalism needs to be paid and be advertised.
Aside from Job Fairs, we have technical jobs that can be searched in the internet, there are avalanche of it in the internet also, but we need to check if the site is just a decoy or creates under ground business that let the individual signed up and oblige to pay money via paypal or visa card to avail news letters and direct principals who will do the direct hiring. This is inevitable, the recruiters are soaring high in the social application sites and because of that there are many philippine jobs that were abused.
Finding a technical job has a limitation, jobs fair and web jobs are good. It needs our evaluation and preparedness. If we have preparations and anticipation then we can select the best technical jobs that suit for us, everyday there are infancy of technical jobs, it’s an avalanche of jobs out there in the jungle. Finding it needs proper timing and guidance from the elders. Try to visit techjobs.ph.

The centre will provide the facilities needed for Guide Dogs to increase the number of puppies bred from 1,100 to 1,550 a year in line with its 2010 - 2020 strategy.
Hiltons will be responsible for installing the air conditioning, ventilation and heating systems. "This is a great project for us to work on and we are delighted to have been awarded this contract," said Mark Harvey, a director at Hiltons."The services we are providing will enable the centre to function as a state-of-the-art breeding centre and help the charity meet its targets. We are also taking the welfare of the animals into consideration to make sure they have a comfortable environment to live in."The project is due for completion summer 2011.game blog
The Pitching Process
- By Cyndy Hoenig
- Published 07/5/2010
Media Relations is 98%
preparation and 2% execution. This is critical and what truly leads to
successful media placements. Because, as you know, journalists, producers,
reporters, all receive hundreds of pitches each day, and you want them to
choose yours. So, you need to be prepared. Here are pitching preparation tips:
- Research the media outlet. Find the appropriate reporter, producer or editor
for your story pitch.
- Research the reporter. Read past stories and check out their contact
preferences. Find these in your media directory or online on the outlets
website.
- Familiarize yourself with the outlet and its
particular focus or personality. Do your homework first. Watch the TV shows, listen to several
radio shows, read several issues of magazines and blogs, and a week’s
worth of newspapers.
- Prepare Pitch Points with all the pertinent facts
about your company and the story you’re pitching before you call or email.
This is vital — you don’t
want to forget the most important details of your pitch.
- Prepare more than one story angle. Don’t waste everybody’s time by putting all of
your P.R. eggs in one basket. Have a couple of things to toss out. This
shows editors you’re savvy enough to know they may not bite on a single
story.
- Call your Contact with a brief pitch. Your first four words should be, “Are you on
deadline?” Then give them the heads up that you’re sending a pitch and
describe briefly — using your 10-second pitch. Reporters receive hundreds
of e-mail pitches a day. It’s tough to compete with that. But if you can
get interest from a reporter before you send in information, you’re much
more likely to receive publicity coverage.
- Very important fact: When emailing media
materials, remember — No attachments without permission.
Your Target Market or How to Find Your Buying Audience
- By Cyndy Hoenig
- Published 07/5/2010
To find your target market, think about the demographics of your ideal client (age, gender, income,
geography, etc.). Next, consider the psychographics of the client (criteria for segmenting consumers by
lifestyle, beliefs, values, personality, buying motives). The more specific you are, the better you will be
able to tailor your public relations efforts to the right audience.
Criteria to research to find your target market:
Demographics:
- Age and gender -- Male and Female customers read different
publications, as do 18 and 59 year-olds.
- Education and income
level -- Lower income vs. high-wealth
individuals view and listen to different types of media.
- Ethnic and religious
background -- This will help you find
additional media outlets to pitch.
- Marital status and
family -- Single, newlyweds,
long-term marrieds, or have children
or grandchildren. Each type spends money differently.
Put all the demographic information into a customer
demographic profile.
Now, check out their Psychographics:
- Activities,
interests, attitudes and beliefs --
What do they like to do in their spare time? What are their hobbies? What
radio programs do they listen to?
- Lifestyle --
Are they conservative, trendy, etc.? Every little detail can tell you the
type of people they are.
- Opinion leaders or
followers -- Find out whether they tell others what products they
should use or need others to tell them what is trendy and what works.
- Social Class -- Lower, middle or upper. This tells you how
much extra money they may have to spend and whether or not they spend it.

business.
Following
are a few sites that will help you find the right fit:
- News and Media in the
Yahoo! Directory -- http://dir.yahoo.com/News_and_Media
Browse newspapers, magazines, radio stations, television
networks, and other news sources by subject, type, or region.
- US Newspaper List -- http://www.usnpl.com

- Internet Public Library -- http://www.ipl.org/div/news

- News and Newspapers Online

- Newspapers US and
Worldwide --
http://www.refdesk.com/paper.html
A comprehensive listing of world newspapers.
- NewsLink -- http://www.newslink.org

Once you
have chosen a list of targeted media outlets, you now have to identify who the
appropriate contact person is. Always contact the reporter / writer / editor
who deals specifically with what your press release, etc. talks about.
You can
usually find out who the right person is through the company's Web site. They
often list their emails so you can contact them directly. I

15 Tips to Start Your PR Engines
- By Cyndy Hoenig
- Published 07/5/2010
PR is literally every
outward expression of your company. It is your website, your logo, what you
Tweet about, your partnerships, what you wear to an industry cocktail party.
Everything.With the power of social
media, getting attention for your company is easier than ever. You have more
control over the outcome than ever before. But, you have to know what you are
doing. You must be purposeful with your actions.
- Be You:
Don’t make a boring and stuffy pitch. Be you. If it is an email, then it
should read exactly as if you were speaking. If you are talking on the
phone or in person, then relax and just be you. This is important because
it ensures that you are being authentic.
- Keep it Short: People have the attention span of flies and they
have even less time to read emails, so keep your pitches, voicemails
and/or whatever else short and to the point.
- Do Your Homework: The phrase “cold calling” means reaching out to
someone that you haven’t met before. It doesn’t mean reaching out to
someone who you’ve never heard of before. Do your homework before you
pitch your company to anyone.
- Target:
Only pitch to those that would be a good fit for your news. For example,
it would be a huge waste of time (yours and theirs) to submit a futuristic
themed wedding to a vintage inspired blog. Just by the theme of it, you
know they aren’t going to write about it, so don’t even bother. Make an
effort to seek out those that would have an actual interest in what you
have to say. You will be more likely to see results.
- Make a Plan: If you have something coming up that is worthy of publication,
then make a plan BEFORE the actual event. Once the event happens, you
should be well into working your plan, not just starting it. Think about
the publications that would a be good fit and start working on your pitch
points.
- Pick Up the Phone: No one uses the phone anymore. Everyone relies
on texts and email. You will be more effective if you actually make a
pitch over the phone.
- You Are Your Best Advocate: If you have employees, be very clear with them
about who can and cannot talk to press and use social media to discuss
your company. You are the one who knows the in’s and out’s of your
company, and you will be able to give it the best public face.
- Social Media is PR: Like it or not, when you use social media
(Twitter, Facebook and blogs) you are actively engaging in your own PR.
Just by its nature, when you are on social media you are, in a very public
way, promoting your company. What you say online impacts your company, so
use it wisely.
- Acknowledgment: If you use social media, then it is important
that you are actively engaging in the conversation. If you set up a
Facebook page, then update it regularly. This also means acknowledging
Tweets, emails, comments and other messages that come your way. It is bad
PR and bad customer service to ignore anyone. If you blog, consider anyone
who reads your blog as a client. They might not be buying your products
directly, but they are reading your words. Customers look to social media
as conversation.
- Consistency is King: Come up with your 10-second elevator pitch and
use it when you explain your product to a client and in a pitch to a
magazine. Your website, your blog, your Facebook page, your Twitter should
all have the same look and feel, and more importantly, the same consistent
message.
- Be Humble: Yes, bloggers and magazines need content to fill their pages, but
arrogance will get you nowhere. Be thankful for every mention your company
receives. Make sure that whoever wrote about you knows how thankful you
are. And, by the way, with the search-ability of the Internet, there is no
such thing as a small media hit.
- Know the Publication: Read several past issues.
- Know Your Target Market: Who do you want buying from you?
- Know Editorial Deadlines: And be early.
- Don’t Take it Personally: Editors receive several pitches per day. They're inundated. Submit again, they're looking for the next great story idea.

Now I don’t think I need to say any thing else.
Still if you dint understand. I’ll explain you again. Why do you need car insurance? Car insurance is essential for paying for the repairs of your car or somebody else’s car. If you cause an accident where it is your fault, you will need to pay for the damages for both the cars, as well as for the other driver.
If there is anybody injured in the accident, the car insurance company of the driver at fault will have to pay for the medical bill, pain, lost wages from a job and suffering. If any assets are damaged during the accident, for example if you hit a barrier with your car, this assets damage will need to be paid for. Without car insurance, a person could lose the whole thing that they have if they are in an accident where there is their fault. The other party can take legal action against you.
I am sure now you are looking for a person who can provide you car insurance. So don’t search here and there just login to www.needinsuranceusa.com. And you will be sorted.

Gateway bios EV91510A.15A.0123

I have an old gateway 420GR, with bios EV91510A.15A.0123, and recently installed a new I-inc iF191D monitor. The problem is that I can't find the right video driver for the monitor or bios system. Here is some history, I had to re-install window xp on the computer after a crash. I know i missed a few drivers, one being the video driver. I have tried to go on the gateway support website, but they don't even show this bios version. Every video driver I download from the gateway website says it is not comparable, I guess due to the bios version.
The problem I am having with the video driver is that the screen is very jumpy. Every time I scroll down on a page it jumps and skips instead of being smooth.
Can anyone help me with this gateway bios EV91510A, or video driver?

What Does It Take To Get Hired?
- By Kristin Binder
- Published 05/9/2010
If you are looking for the answer to this question, I do not have it. It used to be if you possessed the qualifications for the job, you were hired on a probationary period to prove you could indeed do the job. Heck, when I was a teenager, you weren't even put on a probationary period....you either did the job or you didn't. If you did the job, you kept the job. If you didn't do the job, you got the ax. It was pretty simple and straight forward. With the economy in the toilet the way it is today and so many people loosing their homes and their jobs, doesn't it seem fair to go back to the way it used to be with getting a job? You fill out the application, turn in your resume, get an interview, start on Monday.
At this point and time, just getting to the application process, you need so many things and simply being qualified isn't one of those things. You need a food handler's card to serve drinks in a bar, you need a medical assistant certification card just to keep an elderly person company during the day, you need security clearance to run baggage through an x-ray machine, you need a dog handler's license to walk or bathe a dog, just to name a few.
It used to be keeping the job was where the effort and dedication was needed. Now, just being qualified to fill out the application takes all the effort and dedication. And watch out for all of the jobs you are "over qualified" for. Having worked hard all of your adult life, being courteous, detail-oriented, always on time, hardly ever absent, being at your last employer for 5+ years deems you "over qualified". Don't forget about the few years back, when your hours were cut and you had a hard time making ends meet so your credit score tanked! Employers these days check your credit and if your score is low, forget about being hired. Apparently, having a low credit score now means you are a dead beat. It doesn't mean you fell on hard times, picked yourself up, dusted yourself off and got busy finding the next job to help pay your bills and raise that credit score.
I think it's time to go back to when the hard part was keeping the job and getting the job was the easy part! What do you think?

How to Find Reliable Fiber Optic Cleaning Systems
- By Aefos Aefos
- Published 05/7/2010
I am sure none of us fully appreciate important role fiber optic technology plays in our daily lives. Based on internal refraction principals it’s the quickest method of transmitting data in the form of light waves. As the data or information is transmitted in shape of signals through optic fiber it becomes resistant to any electromagnetic interference which makes it the safest possible way of transmitting information and data. Nobody can tap into the data due to fiber optic transmission unlike cable where the data is transmitted through copper wires and can be easily tapped.
However, optic fiber needs to be taken care of properly to ensure its smooth functioning as it tends to get damage due to cracks or get contaminated by oil and dust. A regular fiber optic inspection is needed so that the data transmission remains uninterrupted. One of the time tested fiber optic testing tools, Continuity Fiber optic tester is very effective in detecting the faults in fiber optic system. To detect the problem in fiber optic system, Continuity Fiber optic tester makes use of transmission of light. AEFOS is one of the top manufacturers of Continuity Fiber Optic Testers. You can logon to www.aefos.com for more information on their products.
Sometimes the tiny hole of the connector ferrule of fiber optic gets dirty resulting in blocking of the path through which light beam travels. This may result in partial of complete disabling of the fiber optic. To remove these encumbrances and ensuring smooth travel of light waves that carry data you need fiber optic cleaning . To make sure that the cleaning is done properly you have to have proper tools manufactured by a reputed brand.
AEFOS is a leading manufacturer of fiber optic cleaning fiber optic testing tools. Their patented AFC 3000 ferrule cleaning system is one of the best ferrules cleaning system available in the market today. Apart from this, they also design and develop analog and digital microscopes which are handy to use and can detect contamination levels as low as 0.5µm. It has a build in rechargeable battery and can be operated with single hand.

Will Feds Blame Car Bomb On Patriots?
Editor: The last time a building in Times Square was bombed, the small explosion which hit a military recruitment center in March 2008, the corporate media floated the myth that 9/11 truthers were responsible. How long will it be before the feds blame this thwarted car bombing on Tea Partiers, Constitutionalists, gun owners, or whoever they wish to demonize next?
We have been warning for weeks about an imminent false flag domestic terror attack that would be used to demonize the government’s political opposition and this appears to have been such an attempt. It just remains to be seen who will be fingered as the culprit by an establishment media straining at the leash to justify characterizations of angry but non-violent Americans as dangerous extremists.
Politicians share personality traits with serial killers: Study

Politicians share personality traits with serial killers LA Times
May 1, 2010
Using his law enforcement experience and data drawn from the FBI's behavioral analysis unit, Jim Kouri has collected a series of personality traits common to a couple of professions.
Kouri, who's a vice president of the National Assn. of Chiefs of Police, has assembled traits such as superficial charm, an exaggerated sense of self-worth, glibness, lying, lack of remorse and manipulation of others.
These traits, Kouri points out in his analysis, are common to psychopathic serial killers.
But -- and here's the part that may spark some controversy and defensive discussion -- these traits are also common to American politicians. (Maybe you already suspected.)
Yup. Violent homicide aside, our elected officials often show many of the exact same character traits as criminal nut-jobs, who run from police but not for office.
Kouri notes that these criminals are psychologically capable of committing their dirty deeds free of any concern for social, moral or legal consequences and with absolutely no remorse.
"This allows them to do what they want, whenever they want," he wrote. "Ironically, these same traits exist in men and women who are drawn to high-profile and powerful positions in society including political officeholders."
Good grief! And we not only voted for these people, we're paying their salaries and entrusting them to spend our national treasure in wise ways.
We don't know Kouri that well. He may be trying to manipulate all of us with his glib provocative pronouncements. On the other hand ...
He adds:
"While many political leaders will deny the assessment regarding their similarities with serial killers and other career criminals, it is part of a psychopathic profile that may be used in assessing the behaviors of many officials and lawmakers at all levels of government."
