Road traffic accidents are not uncommon. In actual fact, the amount of individuals meeting injures while traveling has been continuously on the rise. There are a lot of reasons for this. Poorly maintained road tarmac, negligent driving, unnecessary speed, careless or reckless behavior altogether result in accidents. Road traffic accidents have taken thousands of lives. Most of the victims meet with death and it often is a serious blow to the family of the victims too.

The expression behind No Win No Fee accident claims is in fact self-explanatory. When you have come across a personal injury and you believe that you've got a formidable case to follow up on your compensation claim, you can get in touch with a solicitor who can take the case on without asking for any fees at the beginning of the process. They will also not ask anything from you should they lose the case eventually.

From a Google Search, you get the impression that you can get money for funding your lawsuit in as quickly as one to three days. While this can happen, it's more likely to take three to twelve weeks.

In small claims court, you must represent yourself because you cannot hire a lawyer to represent you. (But you can talk to a lawyer before you go to small claims court.) Representing yourself is not difficult, as long as you take the time to prepare yourself and organize the evidence for your case.

    Lawsuit Funding Companies

Sometimes you want to, or have been advised to, sue an entity - but you just cannot afford to. If the entity is poor, perhaps you should not be suing them. If the entity is wealthy, you can find help to fund your lawsuit.

    Small Claims Court

Small Claims court is meant to be easy and cheap (and it is when compared to "regular" civil court). However, small claims court is not as simple and cheap as it could be.

Some states do not allow the standard future-pay purchase method. Such states have specified that judgments must be purchased outright with no continuing obligation.

Most judgment enforcers only enforce judgments close to them, usually in their own state. The reason is, when a judgment debtor moves to another state, it is more difficult and expensive to enforce the judgment.

A receiver is an unbiased person or entity who is appointed and confirmed by the court to become an agent of the court. A receiver has a fiduciary responsibility, and is accountable to all parties, for the purpose of controlling and protecting assets.

Massachusetts has three civil trial courts that address judgment enforcement matters. If the judgment amount is less than $2,000, you will be in the (District or Municipal) Small Claims court. If the judgment amount is more than $2,000 but less than $25,000, you will be in District Civil court. If the amount is more than $25,000 you will be in Superior court.

Almost everyone (who has never tried to enforce a judgment) vastly underestimates the time and money it takes to enforce most judgments.

New Jersey does not have simplest judgment interest rate laws. Currently, the base judgment interest rate in New Jersey is 1.5%. This is (non-compounded) annual interest. Post-judgment interest is not compounded until the judgment is renewed.

    Settlers of Judgments

The Debt Settlement Professional cannot help in every case. Sometimes the debtor truly has nothing, or has gone bankrupt. Sometimes either the OJC or the debtor is not willing to compromise enough to make a deal happen.

Alabama has three civil courts that address judgment enforcement matters. If the judgment amount is less than $3,000, you will be in the Small Claims court. If the judgment amount is less than $10,000, you will be in District court. If the amount is more than $10,000 you will be in Circuit court.

When one becomes a collection agency, they may either collect judgments under the supervision of another entity, or another entity may collect Judgments under their supervision.

    Navigating Court Clerks

Court clerks, although they are usually helpful, are not permitted to give out legal advice to anyone, so many new judgment owners and enforcers hit a dead end when they first deal with court clerks.

Anyone that enforces a judgment must take care of it. This article is for judgment owners considering who should enforce their judgment. Here are the five choices, with the pros and cons of each
